1947 Pilgrim Statue RouteRetracing the historic 1947 route of the pilgrim statue of Our Lady of the Cape. It began at Canada's National Marian Shrine on May 1st and concluded at the Peace Chapel on the grounds of Lansdowne Park in Ottawa, the Nation's Capital on June 16th. The journey was inspired by the 1943 - 1946 pilgrimage of four statues in France dubbed as Our Lady of the Great Return. In both cases the result was a resurgence of faith combined with multiple favours granted!
