LES OBLIGATIONS DE LA CONFRATERNITÉ ROSAIRE

Chaque membre s'efforce de prier les mystères du Rosaire chaque semaine, et doit avoir son nom inscrit dans le registre de la Confrérie. Il n'y a pas de réunions, pas de cotisations.

Vous êtes sur le point de devenir l'une des plus anciennes confréries du Très Saint Rosaire. Il a été établi dans le Nouveau Monde en 1694 à Cap-de-la-Madeleine. 1694 Bro. Paul Vachon établit la Confrérie du Très Saint Rosaire au Cap-de-la-Madeleine.
L'église de pierre 1720 maintenant connue sous le nom de "vieux sanctuaire" s'ouvre.
1729 Fr. Vachon disparaît et la foi au Cap diminue.
1854 La statue de la Dame du Cap, façonnée après l'Immaculée Conception, est donnée à l'église du Cap-de-la-Madeleine.
1864 Br. Luc Desilets nommé pasteur au Cap.
1867 A la veille de la fête de l'Ascension, il découvre un cochon mâchant un chapelet dans l'église. Il rétablit la Confrérie du Très Saint Rosaire.
1867-77 Pages des inscrits dans la Confrérie du Très Saint Rosaire.
1879 Prodige du pont de glace.
1888 Le Bienheureux Frédéric Janssoone arrive. Il deviendra le premier directeur de pèlerinage.
1888 Dédicace du "Vieux Sanctuaire" à la Reine du Saint Rosaire.
1888 Prodigy des yeux.
1888 Fr. Luc Desilets décède subitement le 30 août.
1902 Les Oblats de Marie Immaculée prennent la responsabilité du Sanctuaire.
1904 Premier couronnement canonique (pape saint Pie X) de Notre-Dame du Cap.
1909 Premier Conseil plénier des évêques de Québec, parlant au nom de l'Église du Canada, établissant le «vieux sanctuaire» comme lieu de pèlerinage national; «Il est souhaitable que les fidèles du Canada se rendent en pèlerinage pieux au Cap-de-la-Madeleine où une confession du Saint Rosaire existe depuis plus de 200 ans et où une statue de la Vierge Marie a été couronnée, couronnée par Pie X, est l'objet de manifestations solennelles de foi et de piété. "
1947 Congrès marial à Ottawa La statue du pèlerin de Notre-Dame du Cap (La statue du pèlerin est une réplique exacte de la statue miraculeuse du Cap.) Le pape Pie XII appelle la consécration du Dominion du Canada à Marie, la Mère de Dieu "Couronnement" du congrès.
1954 La statue du pèlerin de Notre-Dame du Cap revient au Sanctuaire après avoir parcouru le Canada à temps pour les célébrations du 100e anniversaire de la proclamation de l'Immaculée Conception. Le pape Pie XII autorise le deuxième couronnement canonique de Notre-Dame du Cap, Reine du Saint Rosaire, Reine du Canada.
1955 Début de la construction de la nouvelle basilique au Cap. Inauguré en 1964.
1984 Pèlerinage de Saint Paul II au Sanctuaire où il est accueilli par une foule estimée à 75 000 personnes.
1988 Célébration du 100ème anniversaire du Sanctuaire et de la Béatification du Bienheureux Frédéric Janssoone.
2017 Fête des Mères, la statue de pèlerin de Notre-Dame du Cap est installée à l'église Saint-Sacrement à Ottawa. La paroisse est située à quelques pâtés de maisons du Congrès marial historique de 1947.
Le 22 août 2017 à l'occasion de la Fête de la Reine de Marie, le Mouvement de dévotion mariale est officiellement lancé au Sanctuaire Notre-Dame du Cap.
Le 26 septembre 2017, les évêques du Canada reconstituent le pays au Cœur Immaculé de Marie à la Basilique-cathédrale Notre-Dame d'Ottawa.
2017 En Décembre, Bro. Pierre-Oliver Tremblay, OMI, Recteur du Sanctuaire de la Dame du Cap, rétablit l'inscription à la Confrérie du Très Saint Rosaire.

Post-scriptum au film Le Pont des Chapelets : À la suite de la procession historique de la visite papale de 2022 et de la présence du mouvement de dévotion mariale au sanctuaire marial national du Canada, la statue nationale du pèlerin a été rapatriée par les gardiens, Dennis et Angelina Girard, qui invitent les pèlerins à la vénérer à Regina's at the Cape.

Short Excerpt: Her First Eucharist

The servant of God herself, notwithstanding the insight from above, notwithstanding her experience of these divine wonders, admitted she was unable to express it. She simply declared that after receiving in her heart Jesus in the Eucharist, she felt flooded by a torrent of ineffable delight to the point of losing the use of her senses for more than 18 hours.

            Her confessor, who knew the humility of the servant of God and her invincible reluctance to express the special favours from her Divine Spouse, did not hesitate to call this lapse by its real name: a celestial rapture; the servant of God later, forced through saintly obedience, admitted that she indeed had been raptured in spirit and favoured, during this rapture, with the grace of light, pressing and gentle, that determined, then and there, the complete offering of herself to Jesus through the Immaculate Mary.

            She writes: “I felt a more than usual intimate sense of contemplation and I had a clear vision of the Immaculate Conception of the Most Holy Virgin Mary. At that moment, I got up from my bed and kneeled in front of an image of the Queen of heaven. Without words, I told her about the fire in my soul in this divine work that I cannot explain. Jesus then gave me a very clear and very noble manifestation of the Immaculate Conception of Mary and, at the same time, I understood the beauty of virginity and how the Holy Virgin is partial to it.

 TESTIMONY

What a surprise! Your package arrived and I got it as I was leaving for Mass.
our Blessed Mother didn’t waste a minute! After Mass, I was introduced to a lovely family we had been praying for, especially for Ethan who was very seriously ill. I asked the priest if he would go and bless him. Then as I was speaking to someone else, I sensed a prompting to open the box to see if the Miraculous Medal was there. So I took it and went back to Ethan and his sister and mother who all held it and prayed as also prayed for Our Lady’s intercession for Ethan’s total healing.
 They drove in for the Mass being celebrated for their deceased relative and heading back to Ontario tomorrow.  What a blessing for me too.
So it arrived at just the right moment. I will let you know if he is totally healed.
