BY SAINT LOUIS-MARIE GRIGNION DE MONTFORT, ADAPTED BY EDDIE DOHERTY
To find the grace of God, we must discover Mary.
“An effective means for Christians to live faithfully their baptismal commitments.”
— Pope John Paul II, in his Encyclical Letter Redemptoris Mater
Described as “authentic Marian spirituality” by Pope John Paul II, this short but powerful work will lead you on the path to perfect consecration to Jesus Christ through the hands of his mother, Mary—for she “has a precise place in the plan of salvation.”
In this down-to-earth handbook, Saint Louis de Montfort provides excellent recommendations for both interior and exterior practices of devotion, and carefully explains the wonderful effects that this consecration can bring about in your life. This little-known devotion truly frees the soul, giving it the freedom of the children of God. You will find many fruits of grace. You will be surprised. And you will be filled with joy.
“You must use this secret for your own growth in holiness and for the saving of your soul. It will help you only if you use it. The more you use it the more it will help you.”
This is a message desperately needed in our day, and for this reason—and at the request of the Montfort Missionaries—St. Louis’ classic work has been adapted for modern times by popular contemporary journalist, Eddie Doherty.
"Anyone who gives a medal, a holy picture or book to another person, has done no more than to inspire a thought for GOD...for many souls are saved in this way, many preserved from error and encouraged in goodness."
St. John Bosco, pray for us. Amen
