The MDM Pilgrim Queen statue is now stationed outside the Pilgrim Statue Kiosk. This statue is also an exact replica of the miraculous Our Lady of the Cape statue at Canada's National Marian Shrine in Three Rivers, Quebec. She was processed to Notre Dame Cathedral in Ottawa to celebrate the 170th Anniversary of the Diocese of Ottawa on June 8th, 2017 and was present for the reconsecration of Canada by Archbishop Terrance Prendergast on July 1st, 2017. She will be placed on the historic Pilgrim Statue of Our Lady of the Cape's red carpet used in the cross country pilgrimage leading up to the 1954 second crowning of Our Lady of the Cape in Three Rivers, Quebec. Her crown is a replica of the 1954 crown which has been entrusted to the Marian Devotional Movement.

Testimonial

In 2009, I received a phone call letting me know that  a good friend of mine had died.  I was devastated, as we had had a disagreement some time before her death and as a result, we were unable  to reconcile.  I cried uncontrollably, and went to my room.  I was lying on my bed crying. With my eyes closed,  I saw Our Lady with her arms outstretched.  She had  roses all the way down  both  sides of her mantle.  She was absolutely  beautiful!   I had never seen  Mary wearing that mantle, and wondered  what it meant.  As I did not want to forget what  happened, I painted what I saw on a plaque  of wood.  My painting doesn't  do justice to what I saw that day.  Now, that brings me to what happened today.  My friend  and I went to the kiosk at the Blessed  Sacrament  Parish.  We met Dennis, who is in charge of the kiosk with  his wife Angelina . He is extremely  knowledgeable!  We learned so much! We were looking at some statues of Our Lady of the Cape, but could not decide which ones to get.  Dennis, felt in his heart that we should   go up in the church and ask Our Lady herself which ones she wanted us to choose.  We entered the church and headed toward the beautiful  statue of Our Lady of the Cape.  I was kneeling before  her, and I noticed that she had roses all the way  down  both sides of her mantle!! I was overwhelmed!!   She was the one I saw in my 'vision'!!  I cannot explain all the emotions  I felt at that moment. Now, there is another statue in front of the kiosk, but for some reason, I did not notice the roses on her mantle. I only noticed them on the statue that is in the church! I am so grateful to Our Lady of the Cape for calling me to be with her today, as she wanted to reveal to me who she is and that she was with me that day my friend died! Our Lady of the Cape, pray for us!
