Pope Leo's New France Heritage

It is amazing to ponder that one of the founding families of Trois-Rivieres - the Boucher family who built the first chapel that the Shrine Our Lady of the Rosary replaced is part of our Holy Father's heritage! The directors of the Marian Devotional Movement share this same heritage, namely the genealogy that begins with Gaspard Boucher and Nicole Lemaire. Coincidence or God's providence?
